D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera Commits To Georgetown

Combo guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera has committed to Georgetown.

Smith-Rivera was committed to Xavier at the end of last year and while Georgetown was seen as a frontrunner after he de-committed, there had been a surge of interest for the high scoring guard from the likes of Louisville, UCLA, NC State and Memphis.

Smith-Rivera is ranked as high as 22nd by Rivals and as low as 45h by ESPN.

Smith-Rivera is originally from Indianapolis and now attends Oak Hill

Upshaw Narrows List To Georgetown, Fresno State, K-State, Louisville

Robert Upshaw has narrowed his list to Georgetown, Fresno State, Louisville and Kansas State. The 7-foot-0 center has eliminated Arizona, USC, UNLV, Maryland and Oklahoma State.

Upshaw will make an official visit to Louisville on October 14th.

T.J. Warren Rules Out Kentucky, Maryland

T.J. Warren has ruled out Kentucky and Maryland, narrowing his list to North Carolina, North Carolina State, Florida and Georgetown.

The 6-foot-7 Warren is a native of Raleigh, N.C. and is considered one of the top 25 prospects overall in the Class of 2012.

Jack Yates High School was the site of the 2011 Super 16 Extravaganza also known as the "Fall High School Championships" sponsored by Jim Hicks of RCS Sports.

Damyean Dotson had a standout performance.

"The versatile and very athletic wing played with great energy and urgency every second he was on the floor," writes Reggie Rankin "Dotson can not only play all three perimeter positions, he can easily defend them as well."

Dotson has received offers from Oregon, Colorado, Texas Tech, Georgetown, TCU, Dayton and Arkansas.
